UX/UI design for an interactive product kiosk for Champion Auto Parts
Project Overview
Built in tandem with the rebrand of Champion Auto Parts, the kiosk was meant to show the advantages of digital cataloging as a replacement for the standard paper catalogs typically found at automotive retailers. The interface was built responsively to adapt across any user device, with a retailer offering a large touch panel display in store. If a shopper was using the display, the next customer would be able to pull up the same lookup on their phone or tablet. Customers can use the kiosk to find parts, learn about Champion product features, or find associated Champion branded apparel sold at the given retailer.
Touch-friendly Vehicle/Application Lookups
A user can lookup their vehicle via automotive or small engine lookups, or find their vehicle by inputting their license plate number.
Shareable Parts Lists
After finding our desired applications, products can be easily browsed and added to a “parts list” that could be sent to the user via email or text messaging for future reference to find the parts they needed.
Brand and Product Marketing/Education
The kiosk also gave users the ability to learn more about Champion Auto Parts and the features and benefits of each category within the product range.
